How we make it
Fresh blueberry, banana and apple are first boiled, then blended. The boiling process ensures that there are no soil bacteria in the finished Kiddie Foodie.
The blueberry, banana and apple purée is then poured into pre-frozen moulds, which are sub-divided into small squares.
The resulting frozen squares of blueberry, banana and apple purée are placed in the freeze dryer. After 24 hours, they are ready for consumption. They can be stored at room temperature, due to their low water content and the natural form of preservation.
The finished Kiddie Foodies are bagged to protect them from moisture in the air.
